Robert Brunel was born on February, 4, 1957 in the city of Avignon (France).
After leaving school hôtelière Robert worked at many prestigious restaurants of France. So, having studied in establishments and castles with 4 stars Michelin, he worked as the cook in restaurants of 4 stars of guide Michelin of department Vaucluse, namely in « Hielly Luculus » and « Oustau de Baumaniere ». Besides Robert worked at restaurant " Vivarois " in Paris (3 stars of guide Michelin), and also at restaurant « Les Santons » on Côte d’Azure (2 stars of guide Mishelen).
In 1977 Robert opened his own restaurant " Graziado " in Vaison la romaine, having automatically become its chef. Young restaurateur for his skill was honored by the professional award - star Michelin. So, in 19 years he became the youngest chef of France awarded with a star of the well-known guide. By the way, this record has not been broken till now!
Then Robert Brunel opened in Avignon three more restaurants: «Brunel» (1979 ã.), «Le Mesclun» (1993 ã.) è «Le numéro 75» (2003 ã.).
Besides it, in Italy, in USA, Canada and France he organized culinary courses, and also worked at professional culinary schools and for private persons:
- In one of the most beautiful hotels in the world "Mirande" (5 *, Avignon) Robert Brunel opened culinary school « Le Marmiton » ("Sculllion") which till now enjoys wide popularity
- After work of Robert Brunel in residences of Academy of fine arts of France in Rome - Medici Country house (based by Napoleon Bonaparte) - culinary art was included in the obligatory program of a residence
- Consulting services in « Le mas de la brune » - the hotel located in Eygalieres and owned by family Henriot et Bouchard (land owners in Champagne and in Burgundy)
- Organized courses for American and Canadian culinary associations. Carried out VIP - actions
- Worked in USA at professional culinary schools and for private persons
- Organized culinary courses in California, Oregon, Northern Carolina
- Cooperation with « Cooking school of the Rockies » in Boulder (Colorado) during 8 years and organization of probation period of the American students in Avignon (practice and familiarizing with the French and Mediterranean cuisine)
In 2006 year Robert started to cooperate with company Vesta, including to carry out masters - classes for the employees directly in Novokuznetsk. And on September, 14, 2007 year has accepted direct participation in opening of the restaurant “ Mes Amis ” in Novokuznetsk.
Jean-Michel Zaragoza was born on May, 4, 1949 in the city of Marseilles (France).
In 1972 Jean - Michel graduated from University of Avignon on the specialty « Information technologies » and then he had been working during 13 years in sphere of information technologies and programming.
In 1985 he left work of the programmer and opened a restaurant «Art Tea Show» which occurrence became appreciable, bright event in restaurant life of Avignon. The same year, having arrived on the World theatrical festival, he became acquainted with the owner and the chef of two restaurants Robert Brunel. Since then they have become good friends for long years.
In 1991 in connection with rapid development of Internet Jean - Michel returned again to information and digital technologies. In 2000 he sold «Art Tea Show» and went to Sydney to work for the Australian broadcasting companies "ABC" and "SBS". But during stay in Australia he didn’t forget about the favorite business. Jean - Michel constantly practiced the cuisine and also was engaged in statement of service in various restaurants of Sydney.
In 2005, having returned in France, Jean - Michel again plunged into favorite business. Working as the sous-chef at restaurant of Robert Brunel, he has graduated from the school of restaurateurs in Avignon - specialty «Professional chef».
In January, 2006 he bought the restaurant «La Clair Fontaine» in Orange, thus, becoming again the owner, the manager and the chef simultaneously. And Robert Brunel as a true friend and colleague, participated actively by helping Jean - Michel in development of the menu and statement of cuisine of new restaurant.
After trip of Robert Brunel in Russia Jean - Michel has made the decision to work in Novokuznetsk as the chef of restaurant «Mes Amis».
